An AWS service endpoint is a URL that is the entry point for an AWS web service. When you secure your VPC, make sure the Vantage MPP instances can still access the AWS service endpoints they require or the deployment will fail.

AWS Web Services Endpoints
Amazon EC2 ec2.region.amazonaws.com

For example, ec2.us-east-2.amazonaws.com. You can specify an endpoint that does not include a specific region for Amazon EC2.

AWS IAM iam.amazonaws.com
AWS Lambda lambda.region.amazonaws.com
AWS Step Functions states.region.amazonaws.com
AWS Application Auto Scaling autoscaling.region.amazonaws.com
Amazon CloudWatch Logs logs.region.amazonaws.com

Alternatively, you can provide access to endpoints from your VPC using AWS PrivateLink if you want to keep all network traffic within the AWS network. See the Amazon Virtual Private Cloud User Guide for more information on accessing AWS services through AWS PrivateLink.
