Enhancements introduce new features and track changes that enhance the operation of Teradata Tools and Utilities software.

BTEQ Enhancements
Enhancements Description
BTEQ-6221 BTEQ now has a TRIMTRAILINGSPACES command, which when set to OFF, inhibits the trimming of trailing spaces from field-mode response lines.
BTEQ-6262 Workstation BTEQ recognizes the new DEFERLIMITS option for the EXPORT command, which allows large data objects to be exported in non-deferred mode.
BTEQ-6433 BTEQ generates a meaningful success message for a "SET SESSION JSON IGNORE ERRORS" SQL statement.
BTEQ-6443 BTEQ generates a meaningful success message for an "INITIATE CHECK JOIN INDEX" SQL statement.
BTEQ-6477 Support JSON integration for deferred exports.
BTEQ-6635 Workstation BTEQ now exits with a fatal error when the default DBS charset is UTF16 and charset has not been explicitly defined via BTEQ command line option (-c), or via the SET SESSION CHARSET command or via clispb.dat settings.
BTEQ-6757 The new BTEQ command ".SET EXITONDELAY" can be used to timeout the LOGON command and exit BTEQ in cases where database is down. It can also be used to timeout and exit BTEQ in case of a long running SQL request.
