Add Teradata Database Systems
Before you can load Teradata metadata, you need to define an MDS System in the repository. Each Teradata MDS System object in the repository normally represents a Teradata Database System, so you need to add an MDS System for each Teradata Database System (for example, production, staging, test) you intend to load into the MDS repository.
1 From the Repository Explorer Navigation Pane, expand Administration, and then click System Management.
2 Click New System.
The Create/ModifySystem screen appears.

3 Enter or select the necessary information.
