To execute a function, the RBM accepts a standard parcel sequence consisting of a request and a respond (Resp or KeepResp) parcel. The module accepts only record mode parcels. Note, however, that the mode is appropriate only when executing a list function. The sequence can be generated using the Initiate Request function after setting the appropriate parameters in DBCAREA. The length of the request string, and a pointer to it, are placed in DBCAREA (Request-length and Request-pointer) prior to calling CLIv2.
