This task describes how to configure Data Mover to send Server Management alerts when a failover occurs because of unavailable components. Server Management alerts are delivered in the form of a JSON report.
  1. Log on to the local and remote monitoring servers: local.monitor.host and remote.monitor.host.
  2. On /opt/teradata/client/nn.nn/datamover/failover/monitor.properties, do the following:
    1. Set the value for logger.useTviLogger to True.
    2. Ensure tvilogger.properties exists and has been configured with the correct Server Management logging method. The following table lists the attributes included in the Server Management alerts report for the specified components:
