External Stored Procedures are executed using the SQL CALL statement. For more information on using the SQL CALL statement to execute an XSP, see Teradata Vantage™ - SQL External Routine Programming , B035-1147 .

To create a Teradata PT diagnostic log file when using the Teradata PT in an XSP, the XSP must have write access to the directory when the log file is generated. On Linux, this requires write access being given to the others group.
