You can select a database table in the Data Source Explorer and export the data in the table to a TXT, CSV, XSL, or XSLX file in your file system. When you select to export data to an external file, the Export Data Wizard opens and prompts you for information about the data transfer operation.

  1. Select a table object in the Data Source Explorer to use as the source table for exporting data to a file.
  2. Right-click the selected table object and select Data > Export Data.
  3. In the Data Transfer Wizard, select External File (FastExport) as the Destination Type. The Export Data Wizard opens.
