Unless migrating from one Linux system to another running the same Teradata Database release, the crashdump files from the source system are neither compatible with nor relevant to the destination system. Therefore, migrating these files serves no purpose, and deleting them from the source system before creating the archive is the easiest course of action. As a best practice, always exclude the Crashdumps database when archiving and restoring data as part of the migration process.
