The default maximum concurrency for ML Engine jobs is 10. For Vantage on public cloud deployment platforms, the default maximum concurrency is 5. These maximum concurrencies have been tested with a wide variety of workloads and are shown to be stable and optimal for most workloads. However, if after viewing the node utilization for the Analytic Nodes, you determine you need to increase the limit, the maximum limit in Teradata Active System Management (TASM) can be raised.
