When creating UDMs, the “CREATE METHOD...” statement must indicate that the file(s) containing the definitions of the methods are located on the server; creating UDMs from file(s) located on the client is not supported. If you try to create a UDM from file(s) on the client, a message is returned indicating that UDMs created from file(s) on the client are not supported. This restriction is similar to the restriction for UDFs.
