Password Expiration
When an application sends a connect request with an expired password, a conditional session is established with Teradata Database. The only Teradata SQL action that the application can take is to submit a MODIFY USER statement that assigns a new password to the user.
If a logon is attempted for a user with an expired password when the user is already logged on in another session, the logon attempt fails and the session is not established.
