Options are always scanned for a connect (CON) request, regardless of the setting for the field. Change Options are honored on subsequent requests that initiate the following functions:
If the value provided is not appropriate for the application, before calling DBCHCL for the connect option, an application can change the value according to the following generalized procedure:
1 Set Change Options to ‘Y‘.
2 Change the value for <option> as follows.
