Dell R730 Extended Channel Solution (ECS) Server Slot Configurations - Aster Appliances

The Dell R730 chassis has seven adapter slots, three low-profile slots (1-3) and four full-height slots (4-7). The ECS has:

1. One Ethernet adapter (I350-T4, X540-T2, X520-DA2, or X520-SR2) installed in slot 5 for connection to the processing node.
2. One Luminex FICON LP12000 adapter installed in slot 6.
3. Up to two optional Luminex FICON LP12000 adapters installed in slot order 7, 4.
4. Up to three optional Ethernet adapters installed in adapter order I350-T4, X540-T2, X520-DA2, X520-SR2 and slot order 1, 3, 2.
