UTY6628 Recovery failing: can not open temporary file.
Explanation:
The temporary file is used to sort the partial checkpoint rows found the log table for the recovery process. This error will be hit either because the user does not have privilege to create a file on the system on which the job is running, or because the drive was full. Tpump requires up to four temporary files during recovery process and the size required by these files depends on how many mini-checkpoint records were in the logtable during the restart. If the drive was full, the next temp file would not be created and therefore the error message.
Remedy:
Please check if the user has privilege to create a file on the system, and check if there is enough space on the system.
