For systems that are connected using Teradata ServiceConnect and have Auto Incident Create enabled, the maintenance window allows you to temporarily suppress incident creation. Open a maintenance window to perform system maintenance or any other task that generates alerts.
You can open a maintenance window that covers all components in the Server Management domain, individual systems, or individual chassis.
Schedule maintenance ahead of time, or start it right away. If the maintenance window is already scheduled, you can edit the maintenance window and modify the information, including extending the duration of the open maintenance window.
When you close the maintenance window or it expires, check System Problems in the Web Client for any pending service actions.
