  1. In the Alert Viewer, select one of the following options from the Sort By list to sort the alerts:
    Option Description
    All Alerts Displays all alerts in the system.
    Time Displays all alerts in order of occurrence, and then grouped by:
    • This Hour
    • Last Hour
    • Earlier Today
    Subsystem Displays all alerts by subsystem. Alerts are grouped into subsystem folders; for example, Database, Network, and Node.
    Chassis Displays alerts by chassis. Alerts for each chassis are grouped into their respective folders.
    Collective Displays alerts by collective. Alerts for each collective are grouped into their respective folders.
    Type Displays all alerts grouped by the Domain/Message ID.
  2. [Optional] Do one of the following to see or hide alerts:
    • Click Expand Tree to see all alerts in all groups.
    • Click Collapse Tree to hide all alerts so only the group folders are visible.
  3. [Optional] Do the following to pause and then resume the alert updates:
    1. Click Pause Updates to temporarily stop the alert updates.
    2. Click Resume Updates to resume the alert updates.
