The Asset History window contains the asset records of each chassis selected with Asset History.
Label Description
Previous / Next buttons Provides the ability to display more records if the number of records exceeds the value set in the Number of records displayed option within the Asset History dialog box.
Chassis Specifies the path, default alias, or Component ID of the chassis, depending on the option set for the Tree View.
Unit Identifies chassis component of asset record displayed.
Asset Name Specifies name of chassis component of asset record displayed.
Modification Date Indicates date asset was modified, based on the clock on the source chassis.
Change Status Specifies one of the following types of change the CMIC detected:
  • New: The CMIC has no previous knowledge of this asset.
  • Missing: The CMIC expects the asset to be there, but the asset is absent.
  • Replaced: The CMIC detected that the asset was missing, but the asset now exists.
  • Changed: The CMIC detected a new value for an existing asset.
  • Same: The CMICs have not detected a change in the asset. Not all asset monitors use Same. When Same is reported, only the LastSeenDate of the asset property is updated.
Property Name Specifies type of hardware, software, or firmware asset information displayed.
Property Value Indicates asset information.
Type Identifies chassis type. For example, a node.
Model Indicates chassis model.
Last Seen Date When the CMIC detected the component or node reboot, and tracked life cycle changes for the component. This date uses the clock on the source chassis which is more current than the value in the Modification Date column.
Managed Element ID Identifies the unique name assigned to the component and the CIM path of the component whose measurement information is displayed.
GUID When a change is detected by the CMIC in the asset record for a component, the change is logged as an event and assigned a global unique identifier (GUID) in the Event Viewer.
