Once a daemon is added, give users and roles the necessary permissions to access and use the daemon.
- From the Data Mover Setup portlet, select Permissions.
- Select one of the following permission settings for the daemon:
Option Description Give full daemon access to all selected users and roles Any user or role can access this daemon. Allow daemon write or execute access to be configured per user or role Select which users and roles can read, write, or execute on a daemon. Allow user and role access to be further restricted per job The most restrictive permissions setting. Select which users and roles can read, write, or execute on a daemon. Also set which jobs user and roles can read, write, or execute. - Do one or both of the following under User and Roles:
Option Description Available Users Use 
to add users from Available Users to Selected Users.Available Roles Use to add roles from Available Roles to Selected Roles. - [Optional] Select Write or Execute permissions for each user or role.Read is a default permission.
- Select Apply.
