Purpose

The query_backupids command queries third-party software for information needed for duplication.

Syntax

query_backupids -n|name -v|backup_version -B|backup_repository

Example

dsc query_backupids -n MyJob -v LATEST

Parameters

n|name Name
The name of the job on which to perform the action. Must be unique for each job.
Example:  MyJob
v|backup_version BackupVersion
[Optional] Backup version number. Type LATEST or 0 for latest save set. Defaults to latest if no version is entered.
Example:  LATEST
B|backup_repository
[Optional] Flag to query backupid of repository backup job.
u|user_authentication User
Required when security management is enabled. Supplies the command with the Viewpoint user, and triggers a password prompt for authentication.

Permissions required: User role
