Purpose

The disable_component command disables an existing BAR component based on the component name and type.

Syntax

dsc disable_component -n|-name Name -t|-type Type

Example

dsc disable_component -n system1 -t system

Parameters

n|name Name

The name of the BAR component. The name must be unique.

Example:  system1

t|type Type

The type of BAR component. Enter system or target_group.

Example:  SYSTEM

u|user_authentication User

Required when security management is enabled. Supplies the command with the Viewpoint user, and triggers a password prompt for authentication.

Permissions required: Administrator role

Usage Notes

You cannot disable a component when it is in use.
