Purpose
The ENABLE LOGONS command allows users to log on to the Teradata Database using the network through the gateway for the selected host group.
Syntax
{ ENABLE | EN } { LOGONS | LOGO }
Usage Notes
The default setting of the logons flag is enabled.
Before using the ENABLE LOGONS command, you must select the host group from which the session is running using the SELECT HOST command.

Example: Enabling network gateway logons
To allow users to log on to the Teradata Database using the network through the gateway, type:
enable logons
