As you complete the process to activate or revoke product licenses, the Entitlement Management System may display messages based on the activity you are performing. The messages and their reasons are listed below.

Accessing the EMS
Your user session has expired. Try logging on again. Login interval timed out
Activating a Product License
Invalid Quantity Entered Must enter a valid quantity
This is a required field. No value is specified in either the Quantity or the Client 1 infofield
The entitlement validity period has expired. Product license has reached end of life
Could not generate License because error (VLS0022) check sum validation failed. Please verify. Verify Locking ID and re-enter valid Locking ID
General Errors
An internal error occurred. Contact the system administrator for assistance. An error occurred during the process of activating or revoking a product license. Log out and log back in to the EMS to clear the issue.
