The Teradata Integrated Big Data Platform 1700 is an optimized, fully-integrated data warehouse solution designed for decision-support workloads that typically require fast data scans and heavy analytics.
The 1700 platform can scale to:
- 22 nodes using in-cabinet BYNET-over-Ethernet switches
- 36 nodes using in-cabinet BYNET V5 switches
- 108 nodes using external BYNET V5 cabinets
- 162 nodes using external BYNET V5 cabinets
- 324 nodes using external BYNET V5 cabinets
The platform is offered with the following software:
- Teradata Database 14.00.03 or later
- Teradata Tools and Utilities 14.0
- SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 (SLES 11)
