CLI0530 The character set is not defined

Explanation:

The character set name or code specified by the application is not defined to both TDP and the Teradata Database.

Notes:

This error is detected by TDP. For CLIv2 applications, the DBCAREA Set-character-set option specifies the character set. All character sets distributed by the Teradata Database are defined in the corresponding TDP release. Character sets defined to the Teradata Database by the customer must also be defined to TDP using the TDP SET USERCS command.

Remedy:

Either specify only character sets defined to both TDP and the Teradata Database, upgrade TDP to correspond to the Database, or upgrade the Teradata Database for the needed character set.
