Every time an archive or restore job is run, Teradata TARA creates an options file and sets DSMI_CONFIG to point to this file. Options provided through the Tivoli tab of the TARA Server Configuration dialog box (see Step 4 - Configuring Tivoli Information) creates the <job_id>.opt.
However, when a job requires overriding the node name and password, or requires more parameters, click ManagementClass in the Script Options dialog box when archiving (see step 4 in Archiving a Database Object ). The Management Class Selection dialog box appears, in which the node name, password, and user parameters can be changed.
