Before you install Teradata Tools and Utilities, perform this procedure to ensure you are prompted to retain or delete Teradata Wallet data. You will be prompted during installation of Teradata Tools and Utilities. If you choose to delete data, it will be deleted during uninstallation.
- Set the TDWALLET_INTERACTIVE_INSTALL environment variable to 1: # TDWALLET_INTERACTIVE_INSTALL=1
- Export the environment variable: # export TDWALLET_INTERACTIVE_INSTALL
