The following configurations are supported for a standalone 6800H 1+1 clique with SSDs and HDDs:

SSD:HDD Ratio Configuration
16:72
  • One Teradata Database node plus one hot standby node to two disk arrays (1:2 ratio)
  • 36 AMPs per node (APN)
  • 16 SSDs per active node, 72 HDDs per active node (mixed drive types in each disk array)
16:144
  • One Teradata Database node plus one hot standby node to two disk arrays (1:2 ratio)
  • 36 AMPs per node (APN)
  • 16 SSDs per active node, 144 HDDs per active node (mixed drive types in each disk array)
16:168
  • One Teradata Database node plus one hot standby node to two disk arrays (1:2 ratio)
  • 42 AMPs per node (APN)
  • 16 SSDs per active node, 168 HDDs per active node (mixed drive types in each disk array)
16:84
  • One Teradata Database node plus one hot standby node to two disk arrays (1:2 ratio)
  • 42 AMPs per node (APN)
  • 16 SSDs per active node, 84 HDDs per active node (mixed drive types in each disk array)
16:144
  • One Teradata Database node plus one hot standby node to two disk arrays (1:2 ratio)
  • 24 AMPs per node (APN)
  • 16 SSDs per active node, 144 HDDs per active node (mixed drive types in each disk array)
The 6800H 1+1 clique configurations have half as many drives as 2+1 clique configurations and use the first 2 arrays only.
The number of SSD drives is rounded up to the next even number.
