Drives in a 6800H system are a combination of SSDs and HDDs.
The following coexistence configurations are supported for a 6800H 3+1 clique with SSDs and HDDs:

Guidelines differ depending on whether the configuration is a variable configuration.
For a 6800H 3+1 clique with four disk arrays, coexisting with a 6700H system, the following guidelines apply:
- Three Teradata Database nodes plus one hot standby node to four disk arrays (3:4 ratio)
- Up to 40 AMPs per node
- Up to 114 drives per node (mixed drive types in each disk array)
- Up to 88 drives per array
