Use the renaming feature to restore the original name for the target database. For example, if a renaming was done in error, the original name can be restored.
This procedure can be performed offline or while connected to the database.
- From the Import window, select the database that requires its name to be restored.

A message appears stating that the target database name has been restored and noting that any changes made to the object definitions must also be undone. -
[Optional] To keep the new database name in the object definitions:

Click No in response to the message in step 2.
The object definitions are not renamed, and the status bar displays the following message:
You have undone the change made to the target database name. You must also undo any change(s) made to the Object Definitions...
- Skip the remaining steps in this procedure.

Click No in response to the message in step 2.

[Optional] To reverse the name change in the object definitions:

Click Yes in response to the message in step 2.
The Replace dialog box appears.
- Perform step 9 through step 12 in Renaming a Target Database.
