Use the Firmware Version Checker to compare the active, that is currently running, firmware versions against the uploaded or flashed CMIC image.
  1. Do one of the following to open the Firmware Version Checker window:
    • Select Tools > Firmware Version Checker.
    • From the toolbar, click Firmware Version Checker.
    The system checks for an uploaded CMIC image.
  2. If you locate an uploaded CMIC image, click Yes to compare the CMIC image against the firmware version. The Firmware Version Checker window displays with mismatches highlighted. You can only view the different versions, since the CMIC image has not yet been flashed.
  3. [Optional] To change how the component name displays in the Firmware Version Checker window, do the following:
    1. Select the View menu.
    2. Click Alias, Name or ID.
  4. [Optional] To reload firmware versions for one or more components, do one of the following:
    Option Description
    Reload the firmware version for the selected component
    • Select a single component, and then select View > Reload.
    Reload the firmware versions for all components
    • Make sure that no components are selected, and then select View > Reload All.
  5. Select View > Close.
