Replacing a Chassis Component - Server Management

1. From the Tree View, select the chassis whose component is to be replaced.
2. Do one of the following:
   • Select Functions > Replace FRU.
   • From the toolbar, click Replace FRU.
3. Do one of the following:

   Option	Description
   Replace a component on a BYNET chassis	Click the button corresponding to the view that contains the component that you want to replace. Click the square associated with the component that you want to replace. In the Replace FRU dialog box, click Yes.
   Replace a component on all other chassis	In the Replace FRU dialog box, click Chassis component, and then click Ok. A FRU Replace Procedure window displays. Use the FRU Replace Procedure window to replace the component. If you are replacing a disk array component, select the component that you want to replace. For all other components, skip this step. In the Chassis Layout View window, click the tab that contains the component that you want to replace. From the tab, click the square associated with the component that you want to replace. The FRU Replace Procedure window displays. Use the FRU Replace Procedure window to replace the chassis component.
