View-only mode allows users other than an administrator to log on to Teradata QS and view settings. The following procedure explains how to open Teradata QS in view-only mode. For more information about the functionality of Teradata QS in view-only mode, see View-Only Mode

  1. From the desktop, click Start > Programs > Teradata Client 16.00 > Teradata Query Scheduler Admin > Administrator.

    The Teradata Query Scheduler Admin Logon dialog box appears.

  2. Enter the database name and the associated user name and password. For more information on the remaining options, see Starting Teradata Query Scheduler Administrator.

When logged onto Teradata QS as a non-administrator (user name other than tdwm), Teradata QS opens in view-only mode. For more information on the functionality in view-only mode, see View-Only Mode.
