In addition to the techniques for preparing INMODs listed in “Preparing the INMOD Program” on page 228 which apply to all platforms, there are several rules that must be followed only for developing C INMODs for UNIX system‑based clients. These are:

The INMOD subroutine must be named _dynamn.

The INMOD must be compiled with the native C compiler.

The compiled INMOD module must be linked into a shared object module.
