The tdpid can be changed using one of the following methods:

| TDP command | Sets the server to be available for subsequently used LOGON commands that do not explicitly specify a tdpid value. |
Use the TDP command or the LOGON command to specify a different Teradata Database. The newer tdpid replaces the older tdpid as the default for the current TDP setting.
