The Teradata Viewpoint Administrator must assign the Manage Lab Groups permission using Roles Manager for your Viewpoint role.
When a lab group is created, the scope of full access lab permissions is defined. After a lab group is created, you can change which additional full access permissions are granted to default users and lab users.

These are Teradata Database privileges. Editing these permissions will grant or revoke Teradata Database privileges for all existing full access default users and all lab users in all labs within the lab group. These privileges will also apply to any future labs, default users, and lab users that are added.

  1. From the Lab Groups table in the Monitoring tab, click next to the lab group, and select Edit.
  2. Click the Permissions tab.
  3. Select the check boxes for the additional full access permissions you want to be granted to default users and lab users.
  4. Click Save.
