Property Data Types

The data types MDS supports for the properties of a class are the Teradata SQL data types:

INTEGER	VARBYTE(n)
SMALLINT	DATE
DECIMAL(n)	NUMERIC(n)
FLOAT(n)	REAL
CHAR(n)	DOUBLE PRECISION
VARCHAR(n)	BYTEINT TIME(n)
BYTE(n)	TIMESTAMP(n)

Teradata built in functions can be used to set the value of a property. The supported functions are shown in Table 47.
