The XSLT Stylesheets tab contains the names of the XSLT Stylesheets registered in the Teradata Database.

If the SYSXML database is not installed, the XSLT Stylesheets tab does not display.

If the Unicode version of the Teradata XML Services is not installed, the tab displays but a message appears stating that the Unicode package was not found.

If the Unicode package is installed but you do not have permission to access the SYSXML database, the tab displays but a message appears stating that you do not have permission to access the SYSXML database.

Option Description
Stylesheet URIs Uniform Resource Identifier of the XSLT Stylesheet. The URI is the unique name used to identify the XSLT Stylesheet across the network. The URI syntax is essentially a name like "HTTP", "FTP", "mailto", "URN", or "file", followed by a colon character and then a URI scheme-specific part to locate the stylesheet. The URI scheme-specific part is determined by the specifications that govern the URI schemes naming structure.
Clicking the Stylesheet URIs column header sorts the table of column information with respect to the information in that table column. Clicking on the same column header reverses the order of the sort.

Actions

You can use the following buttons and menu options in the Object Viewer when the XSLT Stylesheet list displays:

Icon Option Description
Register XSLT Stylesheet Register a new XSLT Stylesheet located in the file system. This action displays a dialog to browse the file system for the XSLT Stylesheet file. You must also enter a unique URI for the stylesheet.
View XSLT Stylesheet Select an XSLT Stylesheet URI from the list to view. This action opens a new Object Viewer window and displays the selected XSLT Stylesheet.
Edit XSLT Stylesheet Select an XSLT Stylesheet URI from the list to edit. This action opens the XSLT Generator mapping interface to allow you to remove or add XSLT mappings between the source and target XML schemas. Export XSLT Stylesheet Select an XSLT Stylesheet URI from the list for exporting to a file. This action displays a dialog to browse the file system for a location to store the stylesheet file. If the file already exists, a window message asks if you want to overwrite the file.
Replace XSLT Stylesheet Select an XSLT Stylesheet URI from the list to replace. This action first displays a dialog to browse the file system for a new XSLT Stylesheet to replace the existing one. A confirmation dialog displays to ask if you want to replace the existing stylesheet URI with the file selected from the file system. If you click , the current stylesheet is dropped from Teradata and the new stylesheet is registered using the same Stylesheet URI.
Delete XSLT Stylesheet Select the XSLT Stylesheet URI from the list that you want dropped from Teradata. This action displays a confirmation dialog that asks if you want to delete the selected stylesheet. If you click Yes, the stylesheet is dropped from Teradata.
