Purpose
The Abort parcel terminates processing of a specific request. It is created by CLIv2 in response to an abort request or to a logoff of a session in which a request is active.
Usage Notes
The Abort parcel is sent in a simplex request asynchronously with the start request carrying the Teradata SQL request to be aborted. If the Teradata Database is processing the specified request, the request is aborted and the Failure parcel is returned. If the request had been completed upon receipt of the abort, the abort is ignored.
