After the first job is scheduled, the Teradata QS server does the following:
- Monitors the job to determine when it can be run.
- Dispatches the Teradata QS job execution program to run the job.
The Teradata QS job dispatcher is aware of established execution time frames that dictate when the job can be executed. It is also aware of how many job executors are allowed to run simultaneously.
