This procedure installs the Aster Execution Engine Base Module package using PUT.
For an Aster instance installation, the installation location requirements for queen and worker nodes are:
- Install the Aster queen node on a Hadoop cluster edge node.
- Install Aster worker nodes on only Hadoop cluster data nodes.
The subset of topics described in this section are intended to supplement the detailed information available in the corresponding topics in Install/Upgrade Software Section in the Parallel Upgrade Tool (PUT) Reference, and provide information specific to an Aster instance software installation.
