The CICS Interface can be started in one of two ways:
- By adding the Teradata-supplied DFHPLT entry for DBCDRCN to the DFHPLTPI entries and reassembling the DFHPLTPI. This ensures that when CICS initializes, CICS automatically initializes the CICS Interface.
- By entering on the command line the transid DRCN, as shown below:
Entering DRCN manually initializes the CICS Interface by invoking the Startup transaction.
