You can periodically delete files that are no longer needed, such as expired savesets, from /home/abuservice and /var/opt/teradata/abu_service/service/jir.
However, do not delete the following files:
- abuclient.log
- abuclient_cron.log
- config
- config.previous
- modifyconf.bat
- modifyconf.bat.previous
- runarc.bat
- runarc.bat.previous
- tcsmon.bat
- tcsmon.bat.previous
- updrepos.bat
Application Backup Utility clients use a cron job to ensure the client process remains active and remove the previous month's temporary files from /home/abuservice on the 28th of each month.
