By default, the Aster Informatica Connector treats numeric datatypes as doubles. As a result, any numeric value with a precision exceeding 15 digits will not be properly transferred. To load or export numeric values with precisions greater than 15 digits, use this procedure.
- In the PowerCenter Workflow Manager, go to the Task Developer tool.
- Right-click the task and select Edit.
- Select the Properties tab.
- Make sure the property Enable High Precision is checked.
