Once ACT, the JDBC driver, or ODBC obtains the authentication information, it makes a connection to the queen. Once an external connection is authenticated, the authentication cascades throughout other connections that are part of that session. A session begins once the user logs in to Aster Database and ends when the user logs out or the connection ends.
