ACT is a terminal-based query tool that connects with Aster Database. ACT lets you type queries, see the results, and save them to a file. Alternatively, you can source your queries from a file. ACT supports connection via SSL and SSO and is available for Windows, Linux, Solaris, AIX and Mac OS. Follow the instructions for your OS.
If you will be using ACT commands to interact with the Aster File Store (AFS), after installing ACT, you will need to follow the steps outlined in Configuring ACT for the Aster File Store.
