The Columns pane is where you specify the Aster-to-SSIS mapping.
| Name | Description |
|---|---|
| External Column | Name of the column in Aster Database. This is a read-only field. |
| Output Column | Name of the exported column. It is the same as External Column, but you can choose to ignore this column. |
| DT_Type | The SSIS data type to map the exported column to. In some cases, only one option is available. In other cases, you can select from multiple types. Depending on the specified DT_Type, you can specify length, precision, and/or scale. |
| Length | If applicable, the length of the DT_WSTR string. |
| Precision | If applicable, the number of digits in a number. |
| Scale | If applicable, the number of digits to the right of the decimal point in a number. |
