The Columns pane is where you specify the SSIS-to-Aster mapping.

Input Column | The input columns are drop boxes, which can be chosen From the drop down menu, choose the input column to Aster Loader Destination to map to an external column in the target table in Aster Database. |
External Column | (Read only) The columns (name and data type) of the target table in Aster Database. |
The example below shows how to switch mapping columns: from (id to id and val to val) to (id to val and val to id):
- From the drop-down menu, change the mapping value for the external column “val (integer)” by choosing <ignore from the drop-down menu.
This makes the input column type “val(DT_I4)” available for mapping to other columns.
- Map the external column “id (integer)” to “val (DT_I4).”
- Map the external column “val (integer)” to “id (DT_I4).”
