To create an Integration Services Project in Visual Studio 2008:
  1. Open Visual Studio.
  2. Choose File > New > Project.
  3. Create a Integration Services Project.


  4. Add a Data Flow Task.


  5. Double-click the Data Flow Task, right-click in the Toolbox, and choose Choose Items from the drop-down menu.


    The Choose Items dialog appears.

  6. Check the check boxes for Aster Export Source and Aster Loader Destination.


  7. Add Aster Export Source and/or Aster Loader Components.


  8. Start designing. For more information, see Using SSIS Connector and Example: Using Aster Export Source and Aster Loader Destination.

To create an Integration Services Project in Visual Studio 2010:

  1. If using Visual Studio 2010, add a Data Flow task, then, in the SSIS Toolbox, right-click Common, and choose Refresh Toolbox.


  2. Double-click the Data Flow task.


  3. Add Aster Export Source and/or Aster Loader Components.
  4. Start designing.
