XML data type values include:
- XML documents.
- Non-well-formed text entities, including XML document fragments, such as sequences.
- XML schema predefined simple type values, such as atomic values.
The XML data type is available to an ODBC application if supported by the database. The XML data type is shown in an ODBC application as a Teradata-defined SQL type named SQL_TD_XML.
