From the Saved Jobs view:
- Click New Job.
- Select Teradata as the system type.
- Select Backup as the job type.
- [Optional] If you are migrating objects from an existing ARC or TARA script, click Browse by Migrate ARC script and select the script.
- Click OK.

From the New Backup Job view:
- Enter a unique Job Name.
- Select a Source System.
- In Enter System Credentials, enter a user name and password for the system. Account String information is not required.
- Click OK.

From the New Backup Job view:
- Select a Target Group.
- [Optional] Enter a job description.
- Select objects from the source system in the Objects tab.

[Optional] To verify the parent and objects selected, click the Selection Summary tab.
Size information is not available for DBC only backup jobs. N/A displays as the size value for DBC only backup jobs.
- [Optional] To adjust job settings for the job, click the Job Settings tab. Settings can include specifying whether a job continues or aborts if an access rights violation is encountered on an object.
- Click Save. The newly created backup job is listed in the Saved Jobs view.

To run the backup job:
- Click next to a job.
- Select Run.
